Living at the Marine Science Institute docks sure has some benefits. The people there are great, the water is quiet, birds love the joint (a little too much as evidenced by the amount of shit piled up on my deck), kids can't get enough, people are always around paddling, and the Stanford Sailing program (part of my strenuous weekly schedule) is right next door.
