Cigar Ratings

Books that Morgan
Recommends...

Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars, 2000 edition - by Richard B. Perelman. This makes my cigar ratings look quite paltry, but then again, mine are free. The cigar encyclopedia.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Cigars - by Tad Gage. There must be a lot of idiots out there, because this series sells well! Seriously, this book gets great reviews. A good choice to help a beginner wade through the hype and confusion.

Extra...
I don't sell cigars, but
here are some places
where you can buy
them online.

Cigar.com
Great cigar availability.
Lots of related products.

As an undergraduate student I used to smoke a lot of cigars. Ironic, since they are quite expensive these days, and I had no income at the time. If you have an interest in taking up this habit, I have a seemingly strange piece of advice for you: smoke a lot of cigars. The smoking of a "real" cigar is an intense experience. Intense odors, intense nicotine rush, intense prices. Only by smoking a lot of cigars will you develop an insensitivity to the nicotine and odor, and thus be in a position to truly appreciate a good cigar. Plus, if you smoke a lot, you will likely be inclined to purchase in bulk, and perhaps end up saving money in the long run. See my links to the left for some online cigar wholesalers.

Cigars...ahhh, how I loved thee so.
But then lawyers started smoking;
lots of money to blow.

So I took a stand: only cigars $5 or under.
Now I smoke Swishers;
idealistic notions thrown asunder.
