  • Cast on 47 stitches
  • Do not join. Work in a garter or seed stitch for three inches.
  • Now you want to join, but we need to add some stitches first. Before you join, add 25 stitches directly on one of the needles.
  • Continue knitting until work measures 7 1/2 inches.
  • Reduce.
