It sounds silly, but the muffin toessel was a major breakthrough for me. I had wanted to break the "one hat, one focal point" rule for some time, but was never sure how to do it. With the muffin toessel, I finally realized my dream. As I refine the style, I'm going to work on the shapings of the individual muffins a little bit better. I don't know if it's cheating or not, but right now they're supported with cotton. |
Did you know? The muffin toessel was originally called The Boo-Yah Toessel, in honor of Rusty Cundieff's Ice Cold character in the fine film, Fear of A Black Hat. After Ice's band has a particularly successful album, Ice buys a hat so spectacular that when he unveils it, he declares "Boo-Yah! That's some Horton-Hears-A-Who Stuff for ya!" (okay, he swore a little bit more, but the idea is the same). |
