ABSTRACT

As a Teaching Assistant (TA) for Jon Claerbout's class I prepared several lectures on DMO. Two of them appear polished enough to be included in this report. The first part explains the DMO correction in simple, geometrical terms and justifies its place in the imaging processing sequence. The second part deals with DMO by Fourier methods.
