Conclusions

Inversions using two annihilation filters that remove common events require careful weighting to obtain the desired results. While this weighting introduces extra complications to this process, it also offers extra flexibility in determining the output. Nevertheless, while events common to both the signal and noise may be distributed between the calculated signal and noise according to the user's specifications, these events cannot be uniquely determined to be either signal or noise.
