Missing data prediction with signal and noise separation

Once the bad samples associated with high-amplitude noise are removed, it is necessary to restore these samples, as well as the samples that were not recorded. The process used in this chapter is a modification of the technique suggested by Claerbout 1995, but it requires only a single filter to describe the signal, as in the previous chapter. In chapter [*], a method using filters that describe both signal and noise will be used, and the method of restoring missing data that follows the approach in Claerbout 1995 will be used.
