AMPLITUDES ALONG THE DMO OPERATOR

A rich literature has been published describing ``true'' DMO amplitudes, which suggests that the truth is variable! In this section, I examine three propositions for amplitude weighting Beasley and Mobley (1988); Black et al. (1993); Gardner and Forel (1990) to find the one that best verifies the rules stated in the introduction. I then discusses the inclusion of factors accounting for the spherical divergence and the effect of anti-aliasing on amplitudes.
