DISCUSSION

In this paper, the second spatial derivative ${{\partial}^2 P\over \partial x^2}$ is computed by the operator T=(1,-2,1). Usually it is computed by a more sophisticated scheme (Claerbout, 1985) for better accuracy. However, when that scheme is used the numerical analysis is carried out as explained in the previous two sections.
