Signal-noise separation

Electroseismic data (9#9) can be thought of as the sum of three distinct elements- the interface response signal (343#343), the coseismic noise (344#344), and background electrical noise (345#345):
 346#346 (143)
In order to separate the interface response from the coseismic noise, we implement a signal-noise separation technique using separate PEF's 332#332 and 338#338 for the signal and noise respectively. Because much of 345#345 is not readily predictable, it cannot be modeled with a PEF. We minimize 345#345 with pre-processing.
