Climber's Guide to Glacier National Park

By J. Gordon Edwards. Excellent guidebook--exhaustive and detailed, yet concise. Also the only guidebook, making it a must-buy. Make sure you buy the 1995 edition.

This was our first "real" hike of the vacation. With Robert, we did a through-hike over Siyeh Pass. Started at Siyeh Bend, but ended at Sunrift Gorge. One advantage of being a ranger: there's always a friend around to give you a ride.
