After climbing Page Mill Road, we took a short detour into the Russian Ridge Open Space, to climb Borel Hill (2572'). In fact, we rode--on road bikes--partway up and down on the very smooth trail. From the top, you get a panoramic view. Ocean to the west, all the way to Tamalpais on a clear day, Mt. Hamilton, etc. As you can see, the fog line was quite high on this day. We took Skyline Blvd. to Old La Honda Road, and rode in very thick fog the entire way.
