Walking San Francisco (FalconGuide)

By Liz Gans and Rick Newby. Amazon quote: "I love this book. I have done about 7 of the walks so far and they have all been brilliant."

On February 2, 2003, Kim and I killed a couple hours by walking from the Mission district (Valencia & 19th) to the Castro district, and then to the top of Twin Peaks. At 910 feet above sea level, it is not the highest point in San Francisco City/County, but certainly the most popular, with a four-lane paved road to the summit and some grand views.
