RESUME

I received a B.Sc.(1985) in physics from the National University of Colombia and a MSc.(1995) in geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines, where I was a member of the Center for Wave Phenomena.
From 1989 to 2000, I worked at the Instituto Colombiano del Petroleo, the research division of Ecopetrol, the national oil company of Colombia.
I joined the Stanford Exploration Project in 2000 where I am currently pursuing a PhD degree in geophysics.
