Dear Kevin,

As I near near graduation from the Stanford Geophysics Department, the
subject ``job-search'' is constantly with me.  While speaking recently
with your former professor Rosemary Knight last week, your name was
mentioned as an example of a successful alternative to the routine.
This reminded me that Nigel Phillips, with whom I went to Colorado
School of Mines, mentioned your experiment in entripenuerial
geophysics last summer.

The reason I address you today is to ask wether you are interested in
growing your operation enough to use another (read: me) geophysicist.
I realize that with the size of your company and it's flexible nature,
this may not be easily answered.  However, I would greatly appreciate
the opportunity to visit you in Vancouver during the next month or so
to discuss how I might fit into your company.
