There are no pictures here of Baghdad and Basra but I recall Cecil speaking of them. Only once in my life did I hear anything off-color from Cecil; and that was when he was getting on in years; he was a guest in my house; and he slipped it into the conversation just when my wife was out of the room. It was a funny description of Basra. Let us just say that the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are not so fresh as they approach the Gulf.
