Brian P. Bonner - Short Biography
Brian Bonner received a BS in physics
and an MS in geology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since 1971
he has been a geophysicist at the University of California's
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and is currently a group leader
in the Energy and Environment Directorate. He has worked on a variety of
projects in experimental geophysics and high pressure physics, recently
emphasizing measuring seismic attenuation at low frequencies. He is an
author or coauthor of over forty technical papers related to rock
properties, wave propagation, and experimental physics. He is a member
of AGU and ISRM.
