CONCLUSIONS

We have presented an inversion algorithm for resampling unevenly spaced seismic traces. As demonstrated with the synthetic example, the inversion process is well constrained by using the wave equation modeling. The next step is to study the effects of spatially aliased data on the inversion process. It is expected that additional constraints are needed for resampling data that are severely aliased in space.
