The apparent misfit observed at very small values of horizontal slowness is due to the absence of data from the other side of the source, which is particularly critical in a region where the events have large curvature. Notice that the amplitude values at vertical incidence are nearly half the theoretical value. Although the use of a split-spread recording geometry could have solved this problem, I decided to use a more realistic end-on geometry since the model corresponds to a marine environment.
