Verification of reproducibility

A judgement of the reproducibility of research no longer requires an expert--a clerk can do it. To verify reproducibility of research, four steps are required:

1.

Issue the ``burn illustrations'' command.

2.

Examine the directories to verify that all files of the form NAME.ps are gone.

3.

Issue the ``build illustrations'' command and wait for its completion.

4.

Print the document and verify the presence of the original illustrations.
