This paper represents itself the conclusions of seven other papers on
this topic over a period of three years. The work presented here is by
no means finished. On the contrary, the main purpose of this paper was
to collect in a single place the most meaningful information in order
to allow a strategic view on the FEAVO problem. I believe that any
physics-based approach to FEAVA removal needs first a solid foundation of
knowledge about the characteristics of the phenomenon, especially in
the image domain. This will allow building proper FEAVA extraction
tools. No reason why WEMVA-based FEAVA removal should not work has
been identified. In the past three years the amount of information on
all aspects of the FEAVO problem has increased and I expect that to
happen in the future.
