Welcome to Yaxun's homepage.

I am a third-year Ph.D. student with Stanford Exploration Project at Stanford University. I got my B.Sc.(2003) and M.Sc.(2005) in Geophysics from School of Ocean and Earth Science, Tongji University, Shanghai, China.

I am interested in wave-equation inversion and wave-equation based velocity analysis. I am also interested in designing accurate wavefield extrapolators based on both one-way and two-way wave equations.
