View of Ritter Glacier from around 3800 meters. A fantastic view of the exposed bergschrund. During a high snowfall year, the glacier would still be covered with snow. On the day we climbed it, we could see quite a bit of blue ice, and any snow that was still there was extremely hard. Couldn't drive my axe deep enough to stand up in the softest snow.
