Below you'll find pictures from our August 24-26, 2001 trip into the smoky, hot, and stunning Ansel Adams Wilderness. We camped on the west shore of Lake Ediza and climbed Mount Ritter on August 25. This was our first glacier trip, and thanks to a light snow year, we were able to see the entire anatomy of the glacier: crevasses, bergschrunds, and blue ice.
