Dunderberg Peak looks pretty unimpressive from this vantage point, but to give you a sense of scale, the false summit in the center of the photo is around 2600 feet above this location. The true summit, around 200 feet higher than the false summit, is hidden. We followed the obvious line, along Dunderberg's southwest ridge. You can make out a prominent diorite tower just left of the ridge.
