After graduating in June, 2004, my parents took us on a 2-week tour of northern Italy. We flew from Denver into Milano, then went directly to the town of Bellagio, on Lago di Como (Lake Como), where we spent three days. We took the ferry to Como, then went by train to Venezia (Venice), where we spent four days. The trip was capped off by a lovely four-day tour of the Dolomiti (Dolomites). Kim and I did four days of hut-to-hut hiking, walking from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Ortisei (St. Ulrich), via La Villa (Stern).
