A Baguette and You're Set: The French Beret Toessel
This pattern stolen from The Woolgatherer in Washington D.C. Phat props go to that store (now out of business) for keeping me on the path.

  • Cast on 70 stitches.
  • Knit 3 rounds
  • Increase 1st stitch in every 10th. (7 increases) Makes 77 stitches.
  • Knit 4 rounds.
  • Increase 1st stitch in every 11th. (7 increases) Makes 84 stitches.
  • Knit until entire work measures 7 inches.
  • Reduce.



Did you know? The only toessel more expensive to get onto the showroom floor than the original beret toessel was the felted toessel currently worn by Yossel's mother.
