Sangaste Castle: The castle is located in the southern part of Estonia, 10km from Kuutsemae. Sangaste castle was built in 1881 by Count Friedrich Georg Magnus von Berg(1845-1938), on of the best educated Baltic-German landlords of the time. It is one of the most beautiful manor houses in Estonia. The grandiose building is a Tudor style reduced copy of the Windor palace. One of the most beautiful halls is the the Balls Hall in the Spanish style. The castle reflects scholar's thoughfulness, intellectual's sense of style and aesthete's sophistication. The castle is surrounded by a 54 hectare garden, rich in the variety of species.
