Tartu: Tartu cathedral/church/Toomkirik in ruins.. Building was planned and built as the main church of Tartu diocese. It was dedicated for the apostles of St. Peter and Paul, and represents a remarkable example of Gothic style brick architecture typical for southern Estonia. Built during the 13-16 century. Ruined during the Livonian War. In 1804-06 the eastern part of the church was reconstructed. Today there is a history museum of the University of Tartu.
