ELECTION! The Drinking Game
Time: 4:00pm Tuesday November 7th, 2006
Location: The 750 Pub, 750 Escondido Road, Stanford, CA
- Players must be at least 21 years old
- Players must have voted at least once .... somewhere (we encourage electoral participation!)
- Admission to ELECTION! requires a 1 beer pitcher ante
- Continuing to play requires purchasing additional pitchers as warranted by fair play
- American citizens (bring proof) may choose to play for either the Red or Blue Team
- Non-Americans are told by the Americans for which team they are playing (and must pretend to like it!)
- Players must bring Red/Blue markers for coloring
- Individuals drink when their team wins an election as called by CNN (Blue) or FOX (Red)
- A winning Senate seat earns your team 1 ounce of beer
- A winning House seat earns your team 1/3 ounce of beer
- Players must finish all ounces within 10 minutes of projected victory call
- Saying any of the following words is a 3 ounce penalty: Gerrymandering, Lobbyist, Mark Foley
- A winning a Senate race or a majority of House seats in your home state gives you the right to assign a 3 ounce penalty drink to any member (cross the floor...i dare you!)
- In the case of a victorious Independent candidate all players must drink a Soju shot
- A state is colored Red/Blue when the Red/Blue team has a majority of House+Senate seats
- In the case of tie, the state will be colored purple
- Coloring within the lines is appreciated
