Steven R. Pride - Short Biography

Steve Pride received his B.A. in geophysics at the University of California at Berkeley in 1985 and his Ph.D. in geophysics at Texas A&M University in 1991. He was a post-doc for two years at the Earth Resources Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and for three years he was an assistant professor (maitre de conference, premiere classe, titulaire) at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris in Paris, France. He is now located at Université de Rennes 1, Geosciences Rennes, Batiment 15, 35042 Rennes Cedex, France. His interests are in all aspects of porous-media physics (EM, seismic, reversible and irreversible thermodynamics, etc.).
