For the last several days that I was at Mushara we had a pride of lions hanging around. They were quite active at night, and into the early dawn hours. Here the big male struts his stuff, and roars. A lion roar sounds nothing like the one on MGM movies; it sounds more like lion is vomitting very loudly. The cool dawn air shows the steam of the roar in this picture.
