Dark photo of me taken from the cabin of Rose Lee.
Another dark photo of Dad on board Rose Lee taken from the cabin.
Shot of the harbour near Oban where Rose Lee was moored. Dunstaffnage castle in the background and storm clouds overhead.
Photo of me on the way from Oban to Lismore.
Rose Lee anchored over lunch on a little island just SE of lismore.
A bluebell forest on the little island we stopped at for lunch. Lismore in the background.
Dunstaffnage castle.
Inside Dunstaffnage castle.
Looking North from the top of Dunstaffnage castle towards Lismore and the mountains behind.
Looking east (inland) from the top of Dunstaffnage castle.
The creepy ruined chapel near Dunstaffnage.
Mum and Dad in the ruined chapel near Dunstaffnage.
Another shot of the ruined chapel.
Weird skull and bones in the chapel wall. There was also some graffiti indicating recent devil worship: `666' and stuff like that.
A guy at Glencoe playing the bagpipes for the tourists. A magnificent scene though, I must admit. I think that's one of the Three Sisters in the background.
Another shot of the bagpipe player in Glencoe.

Lucy and I on the way up through a wee glen in Glencoe.
Climbing up one of the glens in Glencoe.
At the top of the glen. Apparently the McIains of Glencoe used to store rustled cattle up here. Pretty cold up here: there was a lot of snow in late May.
On the ferry leaving Oban for Craignure on Mull.
Another view of Oban from the ferry to Mull.
I think this is Dunollie castle, just to the north of Oban.

Clouds gathering over Duart castle near Craignure on Mull.
Traffic jam!
I'm not sure if this is Fingal's cave, or the one next to it.
The old nunnery on Iona.
Some little flowers growing on Iona.
A celtic cross on Iona.
View back towards Mull from the graveyard on Iona. The water had a beautiful turqoise colour - could have been the Caribbean. The guidebook said Macbeth and Macduff were both buried here. We couldn't find their graves though.
The oldest structure on Iona. Dates from about the thirteenth century, I think.
The celtic cross outside the Abbey on Iona.
Inside the abbey.
A carving in the abbey cloisters. Looks like it has been restored slightly.
An old headstone that is displayed inside the abbey cloisters. There's a lot of cool celtic art on these headstones.
A ruin near the abbey on Iona. Looking back northeast towards Mull.
The abbey on Iona silhouetted against the sun.
Waiting for the ferry back to the mainland from Craignure, a rainbow appeared.
I'm not really sure where this one was taken.
Liz found a horse near our cottage in Appin.

Swimming in Loch Linne. Brrr!
Drying off in the sun.
Karen and the minister that married her.
