Choice of Parameters for tr Deconvolution

The relation between simultaneous tr deconvolution, presented by Claerbout in SEP-42, and iterative deconvolution in the t- and r- domains is illustrated geometrically. One generalization of the tr convolutional model which accounts for separate reverberations at shot and geophone locations was implemented. The increase in the number of filter coefficients did not improve the results of the deconvolution.
