Some Useful Links
Online GEE textbook | Although Jon will hand out a book on the first day of class, you may prefer to review the text through your web browser. |
Homework assignments | You will be given roughly eight (8) hands-on homework assignments throughout the quarter. Although you are not expected to be an expert programmer, most of the labs require modification of Fortran90 codes. If you run into trouble, ask the TA , or refer to this Fortran90 tutorial page. |
SEPlib | Most of the resources you need for this course are part of the Stanford Explortion Project Library (SEPlib). If you prefer to work locally on your own machine, you can download SEPlib. Currently, SEPlib appears to be most easily installed on linux boxes with the intel compiler freely available here. You can also request a coursework account on the SEP network where you have access to all resources needed for the course. If you have any problems getting started with SEPlib, please talk to the TA or refer to the SEPlib documentation. |
Fotran 90 source codes | Most of the Fortran 90 source codes used in this course are available online here. |
