Shuki Ronen was a student at the Stanford Exploration Project in the years 1981-1985. His whereabouts are summarized in his Curriculum Vitae.

Some examples he'd like to share with you are,

• Seismic Guided Estimation of Reservoir Properties. Made the cover of the May 1994 Leading Edge (123Kb). And the cover of the 1995 SEG Continuing Education booklet (58Kb). Also interesting is seismoc guided porosity estimation (65Kb), although it did not make any cover. This is a technical-success commercial-hardly-break-even story of integrated processing and interpretation of surface and borehole data.
• Wavefield Dealiasing (SEG, 1994). Sample movie (46Kb).
• Synergy of Well Test and Seismic interpretation. (EAEG, 1992). Sample Figure (122Kb).
• Seismic Unix (SU) Processing system. Started in SEP in 1984 by Einar Kjartansson and Shuki Ronen.
• Mpeg movies may not be as crisp as the good old Rick's movies, but they are standard and compressed. You don't have to send your movie program along with your data when you want somebody to see your movie. If you follow DMO by transpose DMO you get back to where you started give or take a bit.
