Research interests
I am broadly interested in exploration geophysics, which includes
but not limited to:
- Seismic wave simulation (Acoustic, anisotropic, elastic)
- Seismic inversion for structural imaging (Reservoir scale and regional scale)
- Data processing and denoising (L2 and L1 optimization)
- Earth model building in data and image space (FWI and WEMVA)
- Integration of multiple types of datasets (Seismic, rock physics, fluid-flow )
- Seismic exploration and monitoring for unconventional reservoirs
Thesis topic
The goal of my thesis study is to build a reliable anisotropic subsurface model.
