Cecil tells the story that once the shot-hole crew hit water.
Knowing that water is a precious resource in the desert,
they spud in a pipe and terminate it with a water faucet.
Some time later they return to the scene
and this is what they find.
Someone broke the pipe off.
Why did this happen? We'll never know.
We'll never know how long that water will last either.
