This software distribution is very preliminary.
It contains the tools I built for my thesis.
If you are not very interested in
Prediction Error Filtering or
coherency computations,
you probably don't want to learn about this software yet.
Some of the tools included here will change.
Documents
- Coherency Attributes
(tar.gz,
html,
ps)
detects faults and other subsurface discontinuities by
the typical bedding in seismic images.
- Finite differences and reservoir characterization
(tar.gz,
html,
ps)
simulates the flow of oil and the change in seismic response
of a reservoir. The paper describes my attempt to simplify
the physics as much as possible, but not further.
- Convolution and deconvolution
(tar.gz,
html,
ps)
are important but simple examples of computational operators.
- Missing data interpolation
(tar.gz,
html,
ps)
fills gaps in seismic image volumes.
- Non stationary patching
(tar.gz,
html,
ps)
breaks a non-stationary data set into stationary patches
and, after processing each stationary patch, merges the
patches to a single quilt.
- I would like to offer the Data that I processed in the various
chapters. Unfortunately, most of
the Data directory is too big to be downloaded via the Internet.
I will try to split it into manageable and meaningful subsets soon.
To get started
-
The sdi (tar.gz 8545 K)
package includes a group of applications.
The entire document is organized as a book that consists of
reproducible documents.
-
Jest
includes, among other things, the general data structures and solvers
that I use. You need this to use sdi!
-
SEP's make rules
that I enhanced for Java maintenance
(Prg.rules.java).
You will need this if you are interested in reproducing my results.
I currently use SEP's graphics package Vplot to display results.
I hope to replace Vplot and GNU make with some
Java tools soon.
The sdi programms were compiled and its results reproduced
under Java 1.0.2 and 1.1.
I do not expect any major changes when switching to Java 2.0.
