The Info button offers the interested reader more access to the software he just experimented with. The pop-up info window may include a link to the applet source code, a link to the Javadoc documentation of the author's software, a link to a web page that offers the software for downloading, a link to the author's home page. Furthermore, the info window may state a time estimate for the reproduction of the result image. I tend to place some of the links directly in the Figure caption.
In contrast to a reproducibility scheme with unrestricted access to the file system (see SEP's makefile implementation), the applet version of the reproducible document does not need a clean or burn button since there are no local files. This might change when reproducible documents start taking advantage of possible access to the local file system. An interactive result (such as Figure may include additional buttons, or it may invoke additional graphical user interfaces.
