Didn't get a chance to catch up with you after Harris' class today, but I prepared a little sample setup for you. First log into Pele. Then go to the directory

/sepwww/httpd/htdocs/pub/sep/morgan/access_test

The most important file is ".htaccess" Copy this file into the parent directory of your restricted area and configure it accordingly. Then (on Pele) go into the directory and type "htpasswd" at the command prompt. In this manner you can create "user accounts" for your area. If you want to try out my little "account," go to
