James Rickett's Biography

I'm a member of the Stanford Exploration Project, which is part of the Geophysics Department at Stanford University. My research is varied at the moment. Take a look at my bibliography to get a better idea of the problems I'm interested in.

In the summer of 1997, I worked at Chevron's La Habra laboratory on cross-equalizing seismic data for reservoir monitoring. Before coming to Stanford, I completed an M.Sc. at Leeds University back in England, and for my dissertation over the summer I worked at Schlumberger Cambridge Research on the P-wave AVO response of a fractured reservoir. Before that I was an undergraduate at Caius College, Cambridge, where I studied Physics.

I am a member of the SEG, the EAGE and the AGU.
