The desired spatial mapping is specified by the value
of the field spat_map in the parameter data structure
The following three kind of mapping are
supported by the package:
- 1.
- Trace-to-trace mapping: spat_map=trace_to_trace
- 2.
- Output-oriented (Gathering): spat_map=gather
- 3.
- Input-oriented (Spraying): spat_map=spray
Because the optimal data-flow of both the input and the output
are closely related to the spatial mapping,
the mapping also determines the data flow to be used.
