There is much room for improvement in the method. The incarnation of the antialiasing method presented here is first pass, taking advantage of simplifying factors in marine geometry. Luckily, the acquisition parameters which make orthogonal 3- D land geometries more challenging to program also make the data better suited, in a sense, to upward continuation (larger crossline aperture, finer crossline source sampling).
