We chose to build a sleek and powerful tool, rather than a sluggish objet d'art. Only SEP pages that are rich in content will maintain their readership's interest. Any visitor, but especially readers who visit repeatedly and who seek specific items, will appreciate a consistent, clear, and functional structure of the SEP web pages. Finally, the fast access will make the page available to a wide range of readers independent of the quality of their internet connection.
