Gain

The Gain modules can be used for interactively gaining and clipping the data for improving the quality of the display. Typical operation are clipping of high amplitudes (clip), changing the dynamic range of the data (gpow), or gaining the data as a function of traveltime to compensate for geometrical spreading (xpow). Figure shows the dials that are available to the user for interactively changing these parameters.
