Summary of the algorithm

The algorithm proposed in this paper assumes that all events are linear. In many cases, the events in a seismic dataset are not linear, but are considered as quasi-linear across the space-grid lines. In other words, we can assume the seismic events are piecewise linear and the events on a small window in time-space domain can be considered as linear events. The algorithm for interpolating regularly sampled traces is applied to each small window and is summarized as follows:

\begin{displaymath}
\begin{array}
{l}
 {\tt \ for \ each \ subwindow} \\  \ \lef...
 ...\tt \ merge \ subwindows}
 \end{array}
 \right. \\ \end{array}\end{displaymath}
