CONCLUSIONS

I presented a trace interpolation scheme using dip-spectra. The proposed interpolation scheme can be summarized by three steps. The first step, which is the most important step, picks dips from the dip spectrum. The second step simulates filter using dips picked. And the last step finds missing traces by minimizing filtered output. This scheme is applicable to many kinds of missing trace interpolation problems such as the interlacing of regularly sampled traces, randomly missing traces on regularly sampled traces and regridding irregularly sampled traces.
