Conclusions

IPE is a useful framework for interactive data processing that allows all SEP batch software to be used interactively. No programming is required of users, even those who want to add new programs to IPE's database. An IPE session lets the user interactively select programs to use, and see the results from different tests simultaneously. Processing parameters can be saved at any point to allow a result to be re-created.
