CONCLUSION

The applications of parabolic transforms to NMO-corrected data range from multiple and noise removal to interpolation processes. I showed in this paper that they can be computed easily using Levinson algorithm, which makes their use very attractive. Moreover, this efficiency is still valid when we use irregularly sampled data, and offset-dependent weighting, which is particularly useful, for example for interpolation purposes. Some practical problems remain, especially at far offsets: stretching after NMO, deviation from the parabolic shape, but they can be avoided by using an appropriate offset-dependent weighting.
